Follow this quick and easy guide to the correct layering of the plates for the X-Cut Impress.
If you experience difficulty turning the handle DO NOT force the handle. Remove the plates and check each layer
before continuing. Always have the top plate slightly stepped back from the bottom plate before passing through
the machine.

Step by Step

| 1. Cutting. The correct order to use the cutting dies is - Blue plate, Die
(cutting side upwards), card or paper and then grey plate. |

| 2. Perforating. The correct order to use the perforating dies is - Blue
plate, Die (cutting side upwards), card or paper and then grey plate. |

| 3. Embossing using folder dies. The correct order to use the embossing
folder dies is - Blue plate, Die (with card or paper placed inside) and then blue plate. If the dies
come detached from the folder carefully line up and reattach using a little double sided tape before
using. DO NOT use with the two halves misaligned. |

| 4. Embossing using blue dies or brass stencils. The correct order to use
the blue embossing dies or brass stencils is - Blue plate, Stencil, card or paper, rubber layer and
then blue plate. |
